Cherish the Love

Hi'ya all,

This card was intended to be given to my Husbands best friends Wedding Card. Well I can tell you, it never got there,
 aaannyy who.

Sorry all, for some reason this card was put in a bag and photographed. It's not really a shiny card.
 ha, ha.
Starting on a standard A2 Black card base, I trimmed a white front panel down by a 1/4 inch all round, and then cut a hole in the top half for part of the card.
The sentiments came from a stamp set by Cre8tiv, the one in the center of the circle is heat embossed with Ranger Super fine detail white powder and the Love stamps was inked up with Staz On Jet Black Ink. The ribbon is just some old stuff I have in my stash and the red Heart is a wooden embellishment I have had a ton of for years, but I coated it heavily with some clear Wink of Stella.
Well that's it, ain't Love grand.
Please, you do not all need to answer that.

Bye,
Love Kerrie

A Bon Voyage x 2

Hi'ya all,

So today is a two for one special ha,ha.
Well actually my first card was a fail, but only to the point of giving it to the right recipient, I didn't send it, yeh I know duh right.
Fail ha,ha

It was a very basic card, the main panel came from this collection by Kaisercraft and then the three brads down the left hand side came from my stash. A quick heat embossed sentiment from here on some Vellum cut down in to a small strip and added to the main panel, then all that was left was to adhere it all to an A2 card base. Ta-dah.

Cards number two.

For my Mum

and for my Brother

So as you can see, there was quite a bit more time and effort put in to these. My Mum and Brother were flying out to see family over in Britain, (back in June), I know better late than never. So I made them a card each.
I had to make a suitcase stencil to start with, which measured about 6"x 6" then from there I found some coordinating patterned paper to cover the bags with, got out my trusty Uni-ball Signo white pen and made some fake stitching lines, then went to work on some miniature passports, boarding passes, labels and tags. I had a ton of fun making these.
The sentiment came from here and I just heat embossed it with some Gold powder.
I LOVE making cards.

See you,
Love Kerrie
xx

Keep it simple sentiments

Hi'ya again,

Today I thought I would do some emboss resist watercolor.
I started off with a plain white A2 card panel which I embossed using my Swiss Dots embossing folder from Craft Concepts, ( I have linked to a different one as I can't find the C.C link).
 Sorry.
With the Rose stamp from the Icons stamp set by Cre8tiv, I stamped the image on some Canson watercolor paper with versamark clear ink and heat embossed it with some Ranger White detail powder.
I used Mustard seed and Spiced Marmalade for one card and on the other I used Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves.
Then with the sentiments I used Clearly Besotted, Sweet Little Sentiment for both and then matted the panel on some coordinating color card stock.

Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome Little One

Hi all,

So today I thought I would show you some of the cards I was making in my crazy card making frenzy. I did have a lot of fun making these after a few frustrating attempts, and adore the way they came out.

I also made two boy cards too;

These cards were made with the My Favorite Things - Stitched Rectangle Die-namics some free digital stamps found on Pinterest and a little heat embossing on the round Baby circles.

A new present

Hi all,

So here it is, now I feel like I am the real deal. My new Sizzix Big Shot was bought for me for my Birthday present this year in April, and this is the reason I have been sooo busy.                         I turned in to a crazy card maker for a while there with new dreams of becoming a well known card maker all around the world, it wasn't until I ran out of supplies, that made me realize I am a small fish in a big pond. So now I have a lot of cards that are the same, and no where to take them.                                                             So I returned to making cards as I need them, and the occasional few just for fun.
See you all soon,

Love Kerrie. xx

Mother's Day 2015

Hi all,

Well once again it's been a while, but I have been busy.
With Mother's Day been and gone in Australia already, I thought I had better post these up before it gets to next years Mothers Day (that's in the month of May).

This first one was made for my Mum, with the Blue colors more to her liking, and the second one was for my Mother In Law who prefers the Reds.

You could make these in any color scheme, as the card is the same principal.

These cards were made with very little products but I did get a little help from my newest craft item.

See next post for the new item.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love

A little bundle

Nooooo, I'm not pregnant. LOL

Hi yo,

These card bundles were made for Christmas presents.

And now to the real deal .... I found Digi Stamps. You can buy them, change them and add the png. files how you wish to make a scene.

All these digi's are free, and I found them through a site on Pinterest, and then made up a picture with sentiment on Microsoft Publisher. After that    it was as easy just to colour in the image, adhere it to some pretty background paper, then attach it to a standard A2 card base.

Well I hope you like them, I loved making them.

Cheers

Lawn Bowls Birthday wishes

Hi yo,

So this card was made for my mother-in law, she plays some serious Lawn Bowl. Now you don't have to tell me, the balls around the Jack (the white ball) looks like they're floating, I know, I know some shading under each of the balls would have solved that problem, but you know I didn't realise it until it was too late.

She enjoyed it apart from the glasses ???

Happy Birthday Lilly

Hi yo,

A quick little card for my niece Lilly for her 8th Birthday, I don't see her very often, so I try to make her and her sisters some handmade love.
I just bought sequins, and am still trying to get the hang of this embellishing business.
Had a lot of fun with this one tying the strings on these pretty small balloons, but a little Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue never went astray.

Cheers

A bit of Catch up

Well Hi yo,

It has been to long between blogs, but there is about to be an explosion of them. By the way..... Happy New Year all.
So today I have my Candi Bean Stamp that showcases Bluebell Penny. When I saw this one I knew I had to have it, and I had the perfect recipient in mind, My Mum. They are her favourite flower, so a chance to stamp and colour it to send to my mum, was never going to be delayed.
She received it with great delight.
Hope you like it.
